REVIEWABILITY

If you would like your journal/diary/blog reviewed by me then you have come to the right place. I only review sites upon request and I ask that you have AT LEAST the minimum in order for me to give you a slightly fair review. I'm usually pretty nice about things like this but I also believe in being honest, and after all it is just one womans opinion which may or may not matter to you at all. I however will never be rude, I will be handing out constructive critisism and if you are not open-minded enough to accept my remarks as just that then do not bother proceeding to request a review from me. Ok so here is the breakdown of how I will be reviewing sites.

Content/Grammar: ( /25) It has to be interesting for me to read. If I'm falling asleep and drooling all over my keyboard to the point where I'll have to get another keyboard or I die from electric shock then you probably won't get that great of a score for this section. I'm not looking for mind blowing analogies or anything fancy schmancy...just raw, honest, and insightful. It also needs to be easy for me to read. If u typ lik dis its verrry annoying n hard 2 read. I will not be able to read your entries if they are in some kind of cryptic messaging system.

Layout/Colors: ( /25) I am a designer so I love to look at and to make beautiful and thoughtful layouts with color. I cannot stand the diaryland layouts...they are simple, yes, but they are ugly and I do mean that in the worst possible way. If you use a diaryland layout I will not review because of it, you wouldn't stand a chance at getting any points in this section and it makes it hard for me to read your entries because I don't have any eye candy to keep me interested so therefore it's not worth my effort to just give you a bad score anyways.

Navigation: ( /10) Do I need a complicated compass to find my way around your site or is it simple, direct, and easy to use? I hate having to go to one page, and then to another page, which then might finally have the correct link that I want to reach the page I was striving to look at 5 pages ago. I love mazes, but not on websites. Also, do you have things properly credited? I get super annoyed when credit is not given when deserved or required. For example...if you have a diaryland site and you have hidden the link crediting diaryland then I might feel obligated to report you because that is not giving Andrew the credit he deserves for working so hard to provide a mostly free and very useful service.

Profile/Contacts: ( /10) Do you have a profile? Is there a lot of useful information in it and how would it help a stranger who views it be inspired to read your journal? Do I have any way of contacting you and stalking you on one of the many messangers that we have at our disposal here on the wonderful world wide web? I like messaging people or e-mailing them because I know that I don't always check my notes until months after I may have recieved them. Creativity: ( /5) What have you done to show that this website belongs to you? Do you have an "about me" section? Do you have various links to causes you support or to people you like to read? Do you tell us your mood or countdown to your favorite holiday/birthday? So in other words, what kind of Extra tid-bits do you have on your site that show me what kind of a person you are and helps me get to know you a bit more? If you don't have anything on your site because you feels like it clutters up stuff then that's fine, I can appreciate simplicity and I'll just find something else to score you on in this section that I would classify as creative.
